Sixshooter Resin Statue--approx 8 inches tall

Full Moon proudly reintroduces a series of Puppet Master resin statues thought to have been lost back in 2006, when the first half of a set of 6 were released and promptly sold out!

Six years later, the second half of these extremely limited edition 1990 series are here celebrating the classic 1990 release of Puppet Master.

Remember, these resin statues are limited edition. So get yours while you can! Only $39.95! They will be available just in time for the 4th of July Sale!

Created expressly for the serious collector, the Puppet Master 1990 Series showcases the most iconic characters from the Puppet Master film series struck in signature poses, each limited to 1990 figures, celebrating the film series debut in the year 1990. Utilizing high-end poly-resin material, our sculptors went back to the original puppets and archival photography to create this series. To augment these figures, a unique poly-resin base was created for each figure that, once all six bases are merged, create a stunningly large and impressive environment.

"Whatever Puppetmaster was meant to be (a low-budget paean to Charles Band's love of old horror films featuring demented inventors and creepy little creatures, or his love of E.C. Comics or both) the film, indeed the entire series, became something much more. The films may have been light on plot. However, the funky stop-motion and creepy rod puppets employed in the series were not only retro-cool, but also endearing.

No stranger to low-budget horror film, Charles Band had already amassed a large catalog of films including the seminal drive-in classics Laserblast (1978) and Tourist Trap (1979) and literally over a hundred more. Puppetmaster, produced in 1989 and released the following year, was an amalgam of dozens of other films Band had either directed, produced, or was a fan of; namely monster movies.

In that first film, André Toulon, the titular puppet master, uses an old Egyptian formula able to make all things dead come alive. He animates his puppets Blade, Tunneler, Pinhead, Jester, and Leech Woman (Six-Shooter would arrive in 1991). Soon the puppets take on an unexpected murderous streak which is bad for a series of victims but great for fans of bloody and inventive kills. Using the "gifts" Toulon imparts on his creations, Blade slices his way though people. Tunneler, well, tunnels through heads and various other body parts and Leech Woman's talent is worthy of a dozen bad puns. Suffice to say, once the public got a taste for André Toulon and his puppets, the die was cast for a successful horror franchise that has included everything from comic books to action figures.

In the late 1990's, Full Moon Toys was born, and the first series of Puppet Master action figures were released and greeted with overwhelming success. The first set of figures were so popular that collector demand is still high and finding a Blade or Six Shooter figure mint in package is incredibly rare. A re-issue of the action figures with added accessories (known as the Red Card Series) was released a few years later and sold out in record time.

There is talk of another Puppet Master film. Surely it would be welcomed as the puppets have gone from those humble rod puppets to screen icons, and now...even more frightening, old friends.

This very limited series of resin statues (1990 statues each) carries on the Puppet Master legacy in grand style. Going all the way back to the original source material used in designing the puppets, every minute detail has been added to Six Shooter's guns and Blade's worn metal blade. What's more, each statue comes complete with a detailed base that, once you have all six characters, merges into a truly impressive display.

I have been fortunate to work with Charles Band for nearly ten years now, and to see this particular product finally make it to the market is a testament to his enduring vision as a truly independent filmmaker, and a good friend." -Ryan Brookhart (former Editor-in-Chief of go figure! Magazine)
